St John the Baptist Church

St John the Baptist Church dates back to Norman times, about the eleventh century, although it is thought that a church has been in place as early as Saxon times. It was thought to have been a stopping place on pilgrimages to Glastonbury. It has an unusual 3-sided communion rail at the altar and still has the old box pews, containing pegs for hats.

We visit St John the Baptist church throughout the year, including for Harvest, Christmas and Easter services.
